Coinciding with the release next month of Letters From War (Howard Books), singer-songwriter Mark Schultz will be supporting the book with his "Letters From War" tour. To be released Sept. 6, Letters From War—a novel by Schultz with Travis Thrasher—is based on the singer's hit song that became part of the U.S. military's Bring Them Home campaign and promotion after the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Kicking off Sept. 21 in Lebanon, Tenn., the 14-city tour, sponsored by Food For The Hungry, will feature 33 Miles and Finding Favour. Schultz will perform songs from his debut instrumental album Renaissance (Word Records/Word Distribution), recorded in Italy earlier this year.
