Immersion Digital’s interactive Bible Glo has been featured by USA Today as the No. 1 “coolest book app for fall.” USA Today described Glo as “one of the most impressive book apps available,” featuring it alongside other top apps, including Jacqueline Kennedy: Historic Conversations on Life With John F. Kennedy; David's Diary by David Sedaris; and 1,000 Places to See Before You Die by Patricia Schultz. “Our team is honored to receive this endorsement by USA Today and is thrilled to have been selected as the top pick on the list,” said Nelson Saba, CEO of Immersion Digital, creator of Glo. “It reaffirms our belief that rich media integrated with text enhances the understanding and engagement of the reader by combining the more analytical reading process with related immersive media experiences.” The free Glo app was launched earlier this year, and features zoom technology and an intuitive touch interface with an interactive database of photos, video, maps, artwork, 360-degree virtual tours and more. “Consumer reaction to both the packaged product and the app has been phenomenal and helps Zondervan advance our mission to increase Bible engagement,” said Chip Brown, senior vice president and publisher of Bibles for Zondervan, which distributes Glo. In 2010, the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association named Glo a Christian Book Award winner in the Bible category. Click here to see the USA Today article. |
