New York Times best-selling author Joel C. Rosenberg has reached career sales of more than 2.5 million copies. A former political advisor, Rosenberg has earned a solid reputation for forecasting Middle East trends. His first two best-sellers, The Last Jihad and The Last Days, were originally published by Tor/Forge, but Tyndale House Publishers has since acquired the trade paperback rights and now publishes all seven of his political thrillers and two nonfiction titles on politics and faith in the Middle East. Tyndale just released Rosenberg’s latest novel, The Tehran Initiative, Oct. 18. The Tehran Initiative opens with an Iranian-backed terrorist attack against Arab and Israeli leaders in the U.S. As with the storylines in his other novels, which seem to foretell tomorrow’s headlines, the plot line in this fiction work bears an uncanny resemblance to the foiled Iranian-sponsored terrorist plan announced Oct. 11. Rosenberg’s career was aided by talk show hosts Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity, creating a following of loyal readers. Each of Rosenberg’s novels have outpaced his previous title in sales. The addition of two best-selling nonfiction titles, Epicenter and Inside the Revolution, solidified Rosenberg’s standing as a Middle East analyst, drawing thousands of subscribers to his e-newsletter FlashTraffic. He has also become Tyndale’s most popular e-book author in the publisher’s history. Rosenberg also has won two Retailers Choice Awards and a Christian Book Award for Fiction from the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association. Prior to becoming a full-time writer, Rosenberg was a senior aide working with prominent leaders and media personalities, including Benjamin Netanyahu, Rush Limbaugh and Steve Forbes. In 2006, he became founder and president of The Joshua Fund, a nonprofit humanitarian aid organization that assists those impacted by fighting in Israel and surrounding areas. |
