Zonderkidz launches new social media initiative Print Email

Zonderkidz is giving away a set of its complete 2011 library to launch a new social media campaign to connect more with young readers and parents. Zondervan’s children’s division plans to provide an inspirational and faith-based community through Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, GoodReads.com and Scribd.com, where fans can engage and sample new content and share stories about their favorite books and authors.

“Our mission at Zonderkidz is to be the leading publisher of biblical, innovative, and imaginative products that meet the spiritual and development needs of children,” said Annette Bourland, Zonderkidz publisher. “This mission demands that we provide resources that resonate with parents, children and educators, and this means meeting them in a space they are using on a daily basis.”

The company launched the initiative with a sweepstakes to coincide with the kick-off of the Zonderkidz Facebook fan page. Those who sign up to follow Zonderkidz on Facebook or Twitter through Nov. 30 have the chance to win the grand prize of the publisher’s entire 2011 library of books and Bibles.
