A new YouTube channel from Zondervan affords readers access to nearly 100 video-based Bible study sessions from leading authors such as New York Times best-selling authors Tim Keller and Lysa TerKeurst. Users will also be able to browse first chapters from more than 150 audiobook titles and share them through social media, including Facebook and Twitter. “People are watching millions of videos through YouTube each month on their mobile devices,” said John Raymond, vice president and publisher at Zondervan. “This is a way they can gain access to relatively short, spiritually rich content from Christian teachers—like John Ortberg, Tim Keller, Andy Stanley and Bill Hybels—not just at home, but anywhere they go.” The Bible study videos available for free streaming are a sampling from a larger library of copyrighted videos, and are offered in partnership with Zondervan and Christian Book Distributors to meet the growing demand for affordable video downloads from Christian teachers. Steve Sammons, executive vice president for consumer engagement, said that audio is a growing product line for Zondervan. “We value the ability to make these resources easily accessible to help Christians gain inspiration and insight from Zondervan authors,” he said. Zondervan eventually plans to offer the first chapter of its complete library of more than 1,100 audiobooks. To access the free video and audio, click here to visit Zondervan’s YouTube channel. |
