The Christian Manifesto blog has named its 2012 Lime Awards winners, honoring excellence in Christian fiction in nine categories. The winners are: Amish Fiction: Living in Harmony, Mary Ellis (Harvest House Publishers) Children’s & Young Adult Fiction: Spirit Fighter, Jerel Law (Thomas Nelson) Contemporary Fiction: An Unexpected Guest, Anne Korkeakivi (Little, Brown & Co.) Contemporary Romance: The Reunion, Dan Walsh (Revell/Baker Publishing Group) Crime, Mystery and Legal: Opening Moves, Steven James (Signet Select) Historical Fiction: A Wreath of Snow, Liz Curtis Higgs (WaterBrook Press) Historical Romance: Short-Straw Bride, Karen Witemeyer (Bethany House/Baker Publishing Group) Suspense, Speculative & Thriller: The Last Night of Alton Webber, Robin Parrish (Tyndale House Publishers) Romantic Suspense: Firethorn, Ronie Kendig (Barbour Publishing) The Christian Manifesto’s fiction team, which consists of a group of diverse individuals from all over the world, names the winners by adding the number of five-star reviews given during the year and narrowing it down to one winner per category.
