The Evangelical Christian Publishers Association (ECPA) has closed registration for its upcoming Leadership Summit because seats have sold out in a record amount of time with a record number of publishers. "We look forward to a vibrant time of connecting and learning from a stellar cast of industry experts and visionaries, while sharing best practices and challenges with each other during an important year for the industry," said ECPA President and CEO Mark Kuyper. Designed for managers in Christian publishing, the event, to be held April 29-May 1 at Ingram Publisher Services' headquarters outside of Nashville, will also include the ECPA Awards Banquet, featuring the Christian Book Award winners, along with the industry's Jordon Lifetime Achievement Award recipient. The April 29 banquet will also feature author Stephen Mansfield and recipients of top sales achievements—Gold, Platinum and Diamond awards. ECPA's member meeting will take place April 30. Industry leaders who will present at the annual conference include Ingram Distribution President John Ingram; Charisma House Executive Vice President Tessie DeVore; and Spanish ECPA President Peter Cerra. "Through this conference, ECPA's sense of service to its membership and its broad and strategic engagement with the issues we face brings us something truly worthwhile and actionable in what for all stakeholders is a season of changes, questions and significant opportunities in the publishing industry," said Jeff Crosby, associate publisher and director of sales and marketing for InterVarsity Press.
