B&H, Kregel titles chosen as 'ForeWord' finalists |

Books from B&H Publishing Group and Kregel Publications have been named finalists of ForeWord Magazine's 2012 Book of the Year Awards. The finalists in Religious Adult Fiction category included A Plain Death by Amanda Flower and Lost and Found by Ginny L. Yttrup (both B&H Publishing); and Proof by Jordyn Redwood and The Sound of Red Returning by Sue Duffy (both Kregel Publications). Yttrup won the category last year for her debut novel, Words (B&H Publishing). Double Blind by Brandilyn Collins (B&H Publishing) was a finalist in the Thriller/Suspense Adult Fiction category. In the War & Military Adult Fiction category, the finalists included Resurrect by David E. Stevens (Kregel Publications). In the Religion Adult Nonfiction category, the finalists included Messy by A.J. Swoboda (Kregel Publications) and The Evolution of Adam by Peter Enns (Brazos Press//Baker Publishing Group), while in Romance Adult Fiction category, Mortal Fire by C.F. Dunn (Monarch Books/Kregel Publications) became a finalist. Approximately 1,300 books from 700 publishers were entered in 62 categories. A panel of judges composed of librarians and booksellers will determine the winners, to be announced at a ceremony during the American Library Association Annual Conference, to be held June 28 in Chicago.
