Anchor Distributors and sister company Whitaker House are expecting to generate good sales during CBA's marquee summer event next week.

"With a greater variety of specials and higher discounts than recent years, our sales representatives' appointments are filling up nicely," Anchor and Whitaker House Sales Manager Lee Yeckel told Christian Retailing. "We also anticipate plenty of walk-ups at ICRS."

He said both companies "hope to make more connections and fill more orders than ever before" at the International Christian Retail Show (ICRS), scheduled for June 23-26 at the America's Center Convention Complex in St. Louis.

Specials for the show include up to 55% discount on all Whitaker House products;

80% discount on 100 or more Whitaker House promotional books; extra 2% discount on all Anchor Distributors products; extra 3%-28% discount pass-throughs on many vendors' lines; a cover-my-expenses show offer; a chance to win a $100 Visa gift card; and a free gift for scheduling an appointment with a Whitaker House or Anchor representative.

"I'm really excited about making new connections and nurturing relationships with existing customers and suppliers," Yeckel said. "I'm amazed at how much business comes our way by word of mouth."

Anchor and Whitaker House are also hosting 14 authors from five publishers at ICRS.
