Todd Starnes, host of Fox News & Commentary, recently signed a one-book deal with Charisma Media’s book group, Charisma House, for the 2014 release of God Less America (FrontLine). God Less America will highlight Starnes’ conviction that American Christians are facing uncertain times with religious liberty undermined and when right is wrong and wrong is right. Starnes’ forthcoming release uses humor and a wide-ranging collection of stories and interviews to expose the assault on Christian values in America. Tessie DeVore, executive vice president of Charisma House, said Starnes is “a great communicator that has keen insight into the cause of America's eroding culture values.” “We are very pleased to acquire him as an author and fully believe in the message of this book and its potential to create national dialogue,” she added. Speaking against moral decline in America, Starnes responded directly last July when the fast-food chain Chick-fil-A faced public ridicule for its owner’s stance against same-sex marriage. Starnes’ Fox News blog reaches 1.9 million people per month. He is also the author of Dispatches From Bitter America, They Popped My Hood and Found Gravy on the Dipstick and A Portrait of Christ. |
