Baker Academic, Eerdmans titles win Biblical Archaeology awards |

Baker Academic/Baker Publishing Group and Wm. B. Eerdmans titles have been honored with 2013 Biblical Archaeology Society (BAS) Publication Awards, which recognize the best books published in the niche category in 2011 and 2012. Apocalypticism in the Bible and Its World by Frederick J. Murphy (Baker Academic) was awarded Best Book Relating to the New Testament. Isaiah 40–66: Translation and Commentary by Shalom Paul (Wm. B. Eerdmans) won Best Book Relating to the Hebrew Bible. The biennial BAS Publication Awards for books about archaeology and the Bible have been presented since 1985.
