The Catholic Marketing Network (CMN) has announced that its 2014 summer trade show will be held in Chicago, in the hopes of revisiting its previous high attendance there.

“We last held our CMN summer event in Chicago in 2003, and it was our largest gathering ever, so we think the timing is right to return to the Midwest,” said CMN President Alan Napleton.

The July 29-Aug. 1 event will be held in the new Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center and Hotel, “a fantastic venue and only 10 miles from O’Hare,” Napleton said.

The Catholic Writers Guild also will be holding its meeting in conjunction with CMN again next year.

“Our relationship with the CMN has been wonderful and has helped the Catholic Writers Guild to grow,” said Ann Lewis, the guild’s event coordinator. “We’re excited about our 2014 event and look forward to seeing everyone in Chicago.”

Exhibitor registration starts Nov. 18, and store registration Dec. 30.
