Mission Pictures International (MPI) has announced the international distribution of six new titles. MPI—a foreign sales, finance and distribution company specializing in family-based entertainment—will be showcasing the new movies at MIPCOM, a high-profile entertainment industry festival held Oct. 7-10 in Cannes, France. “Our upcoming roster of films really touch on love, life and the struggles people face,” said MPI President Chevonne O’Shaughnessey. “We are enthusiastic and look forward to expanding them to our global audience.” Highlights from the new line-up include The Ultimate Life, Christmas for a Dollar, I’m in Love With a Church Girl, Cartas a Elena (Letters to Elena) and Not That Funny. MPI hopes to further broaden the global audiences by exposing them to the newest slate of family-friendly projects. Domestically, The Ultimate Life opened to theater audiences earlier this month while I’m in Love With a Church Girl will debut in theaters Oct. 18, both of which have accompanying books available. Christmas for a Dollar (Covenant Communications, 2009) and Cartas a Elena (Distrimax, 2011) have already been released on DVD. |
