Two key Christian retail chains are kicking off their Columbus Day sales with coupons and discounts, appealing to bargain hunters and customers who have an extra day off to shop.

Family Christian has sent out coupons for 40% off any one regularly priced item valid only Monday, Oct. 14. The coupon can be used both in-store and online.

Family is also offering select CDs for $5 or $10 in an ongoing promotion, including the latest albums from Skillet, Colton Dixon and TobyMac.

LifeWay offers a Sail Into Savings coupon for $5 off any purchase of $20 or more. The coupon—available from LifeWay’s website or through email promotions—is valid Oct. 11-14.

LifeWay also has a number of best-selling items on sale, including books like Si-Cology 1 by Duck Dynasty’s Si Robertson; The Harbinger by Jonathan Cahn; Max Lucado’s You’ll Get Through This; and Sarah Young’s Jesus Calling.
