New York Times best-selling author Ted Dekker will launch a major market speaking tour this month—the first time he has done so in 15 years. Dekker will share the never-before-told story of his personal journey, which began in the jungles of Indonesia, the birthplace of his latest novel, Outlaw, releasing Oct. 22 from Center Street (Hachette Book Group). The multimillion-copy-selling author has big goals for the 18-city tour, planning to engage each member of his audience to discover “who YOU really are,” promising to “forever change the way you see yourself.” “Outlaw is a book unlike any I’ve written before, and the Outlaw Tour is equally unique,” Dekker said. “I’ve been invited many times over the last 15 years to share my heart in churches and I’ve always bowed out, but so much in me seems to have changed these last couple years. From a broken place, I’ve seen something new, something incredible, something staggering worth sharing.” The Outlaw Tour launches in Dallas and travels through such major markets as Chicago, Houston, Toronto, Washington, San Diego, Nashville and Kansas City before wrapping up Nov. 17 in Phoenix. Each tour stop will be held at a church that is passionate about reaching this generation, and Dekker will speak and sign books at each venue. The giveaways include a backstage pass, reserved front-row seating and an autographed hardcover edition of Outlaw. |
