ScottStappProofOfLife-webGRAMMY Award-winner Scott Stapp’s Proof of Life (Wind-up Records/Provident Distribution) has soared up the charts since hitting shelves Nov. 5, with the album debuting on three Billboard charts: No. 7 on the Rock Chart, No. 35 on the Current Album Chart and No. 3 on the Current Contemporary Christian chart.

Since announcing the release of the album—his first solo album since 2005’s Platinum-selling The Great Divide—Stapp’s Twitter followers have more than doubled, jumping to greater than 101,000 in just a few weeks.

Proof of Life is an 11-track collection of songs that chronicles the extension of Stapp’s journey through fame, addiction and the rediscovery of his faith. He has sold nearly 30 million albums as the frontman for hard-rock group Creed, which had 11 No. 1 singles and three GRAMMY nominations.

“Slow Suicide,” the album’s lead single, was the “Most Added” track this week, while also breaking into the Top 20 on Billboard’s Christian Rock Indicator radio chart.

To support his new album, Stapp announced the first leg of his 2014 tour, which will kick off at the House of Blues in Dallas on March 19.
