B&H Publishing Group has announced the company’s publishing plan for The Rainbow Study Bible, which was acquired in 2013 from Standard Publishing. Prior to the acquisition, B&H was a distribution partner with Standard and helped to sell over 3 million copies of the Bible since its creation in the 1980s. Holman Bibles Publisher Jeremy Howard is honored to focus on The Rainbow Study Bible. “We believe in The Rainbow Study Bible and its usefulness in the world today,” Howard said. “We live in a visual-learning era where this beautiful Bible is needed more than ever for someone wanting to dig deeper into the Word of God.” Launching nationwide in September, the Holman Rainbow Study Bible, KJV Edition features an all-new page layout that includes the unique color-code key across every spread. Readers of the new edition will find the Bible to be “a quick-reference tool, helping you to never forget the 12 major themes throughout the Bible,” Howard said. A floor display will be available to retailers in spring 2015 that will feature the KJV edition and NIV edition (February 2015). Following these releases will be the RVR 1960 Spanish edition (April 2015). In all, there will be more than 30 format editions releasing in the next 12 months. “B&H is grateful to be a steward of this resource and looks forward to growing and managing the Rainbow Study Bible for many years to come,” said B&H President Selma Wilson. The Rainbow Study Bible has a unique color-coding system that allows readers to quickly and easily identify 12 major themes of Scripture throughout the text: God, discipleship, love, faith, sin, evil, salvation, family, outreach, commandments, history and prophecy. The system also underlines all words directly spoken by God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Click here for a full video description. |
