Xulon Press and parent Salem Communications launched a new politically conservative imprint, Liberty Hill Publishing, Sept. 22. The addition of Liberty Hill capitalizes on the expertise of Xulon Press—which has produced more than 20,000 titles, more than any other faith-based self-publisher—and further expands Salem Communications’ presence in the conservative media-space and publishing industry. Authors will benefit from Salem’s conservative media outlets, including its 26 news-talk radio stations, websites such as Townhall.com, Hotair.com and Redstate.com, as well as its traditional publishing company, Regnery Publishing. Chad Nykamp, vice president and general manager, said Liberty Hill “fills a significant need for the conservative author” and offers “the broadest possible platform for their message.” Liberty Hill books also will be reviewed for possible traditional publishing contracts by Regnery, which has published 51 New York Times best-sellers, including titles from Ann Coulter, Dinesh D’Souza and David Limbaugh. |
