Family Christian Stores is inviting customers to visit one of its stores Saturday, Nov. 1, for a World Vision celebration ahead of Orphan Sunday, Nov. 2.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Family is partnering with World Vision for the celebration. There will be cake to eat and a coloring activity for children.

In the chain’s marketing eblast, Family encouraged customers to “gather with others in your community to stand for the single goal that God’s great love for orphans will rule in our hearts as well.”

At the event, there also will be an opportunity to hear about orphans in need of sponsors through World Vision.
