Trip Lee’s ‘Rise’ tops Billboard chart |

Hip-hop artist Trip Lee has seen his latest album, Rise (Reach Records/New Day Christian Distributors), hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Gospel Album chart. The release also placed in the top five on Billboard’s Hip Hop, Indie, Christian & Digital chart and in the top 20 on Billboard’s Top 200. Executive-produced by GRAMMY-winning producer Gawvi (Lecrae, Andy Mineo), Lee’s fifth studio album is a call to action to live life to the fullest while still honoring one’s faith. In support of the new album, Lee has won media attention in such outlets as The Washington Times, vibe.com, thesource.com, hiphopdx.com, christianpost.com, Relevant Magazine, breathecast.com and Rapzilla.com. Lee is touring with Winter Jam on select dates and is releasing a book, Rise: Get Up and Live in God’s Great Story (Nelson Books) on Jan. 27. |
