Carpentree has announced the opening of a new gift and wall décor showroom at AmericasMart Atlanta. The veteran family-owned and -operated business “will be releasing our largest collection of gift products in the company’s history this January at AmericasMart,” said National Sales Director Jordan Hobson. “We are very excited to introduce our brand to the Atlanta gift market and serve stores with our best-selling products. Our new showroom at AmericasMart in Building 2, Suite 1338A will be a great venue to display our new intros twice each year.” The company is also represented in the gift market by Keith Smith Ltd. and shows products at the Dallas Market in the World Trade Center and nationally through IntegriTeam Sales. The company joins other inspirational product brands such as Divinity Gifts, Lighthouse Christian Products, P. Graham Dunn, Precious Moments, Gip Carson, Youngs and Angel Star on the 13th floor. “We feel the footprint on the 13th floor is a great fit for our products,” Hobson said. “Stores looking for inspiration and encouragement will find a mix of great items from small giftables to wall décor created by American craftsmen all in one place.” Carpentree’s spring 2015 lines include a mix of glass photo frames, boxes, trays and decorative mercury-glass bottles with verse appropriate for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, weddings and more. Also featured are ceramic tabletop giftware, photo frames and galvanized metal containers. The company also offers magnets, glassware gifts and fashion accessories, including scarves, purses and totes, and its fashion line features fair trade items from a partnership with Freeset. The company also just released a new line of gifts for desktops and as wall décor that features excerpts from the best-selling book Jesus Calling by Sarah Young. “We are pleased to have a new venue to serve gift stores looking for gifts in all price points,” Hobson said. “Whether stores are looking for fresh ideas for occasions, general gifts or want unique American-made wall décor, Carpentree has a something to offer everyone.” Carpentree is known for its many licensed products, including those featuring the now-famous image of Christ from Akiane Kramarik’s “Prince of Peace” as seen in the movie Heaven Is for Real. “Carpentree works continually to find the next big thing in the inspiration industry,” said Bill Fowler, director of business development. “We are working with the movers and shakers who are interpreting inspiration ideas for our current culture and generations. One of our strengths as a company is to give products a voice that communicates inspirational messages in ways that people want to have in their homes or to give or receive as gifts.” Marketing Manager Sherry Morris is excited about this new opportunity in Atlanta. Having a showroom in Atlanta is a new opportunity to show how to merchandise inspirational gifts with our passion and flair,” Morris said. “Our team of merchandisers is setting up the new showroom with a variety of techniques that stores can easily copy. One of our strengths in the industry has been to help stores merchandise our products. In the past, our trade show booth at the International Christian Retail Show has been our only venue for sharing fresh and fun merchandising ideas. We are very excited to expand on that in Atlanta. Now we have a permanent space to recreate for each show.” |
