David C Cook’s cornerstone Sunday school curriculum, Bible-In-Life, marked its 50th year of changing lives in 2014. Since Bible-In-Life began in 1964, it has reached readers around the world from toddlers to adults. A second acclaimed curriculum from David C Cook, Echoes, reached its 25th anniversary this year. Designed for families, Echoes is one of the most widely used resources for African-American churches. The staff at David C Cook celebrated both anniversaries with an all-company reception that included testimonies from churches that have used the curricula for decades. One Colorado Springs, Colorado, church said that the congregation has used the Echoes curriculum for all 25 years. Bible-In-Life and Echoes continue the tradition that David Caleb Cook envisioned more than 100 years ago. Cook’s primary desire was to reach children through balanced, affordable, Christ-centered Sunday school materials. Today the nonprofit company reaches spiritual seekers of all ages. |
