Torrance, California-based Rose Publishing has been named as one of the best Christian workplaces according to an annual review by Best Christian Workplaces Institute. According to its website, bcwinstitute.com, the Christian institute is a national organization that reviews faith-based companies on whether “employees experience healthy, even flourishing workplace cultures.” Rose Publishing President Gretchen Goldsmith expressed her appreciation for the recognition from BCWI. “We feel truly honored. We have an excellent staff, but we never expected to achieve this designation our first year,” Goldsmith says. “We are grateful.” Best Christian Workplaces Institute made their selections based on the overall happiness and significance employees found in their job. BCWI President Al Lopus says the awarded companies have “rich day-to-day relationships and fellowship are particularly meaningful … employees give more of their energy, creativity and passion on their job.” Rose Publishing became one of only three Christian organizations in California to make the list of certified “Best Christian Workplaces” for the institute’s 13th annual survey. More than 100 organizations applied for the best Christian workplace certification and 58 were awarded the designation. Since 2002, Best Christian Workplace Institute has surveyed more than 150,000 employees from 640 organizations worldwide, including the United States, Canada and South Africa.
