Tyndale House Publishers will partner with New York Times best-selling author and Bible teacher Dr. David Jeremiah to produce the companion books for NBC’s A.D. The Bible Continues, television event, launching this Easter.

A.D. The Bible Continues picks up where the smash-hit miniseries The Bible left off, continuing the greatest story ever told and exploring the exciting and inspiring events that followed the crucifixion of Christ as recorded in the Book of Acts.

Dr. Jeremiah is well known by millions as a compelling Bible teacher. He has a strong commitment and desire to teach people the complete Word of God,’ said Tyndale House Senior Vice President and Group Publisher Ron Beers. “These books offer insight and depth into the Book of Acts that no one else could bring to this project. Tyndale House will release both books in April 2015 to coincide with the series broadcast on NBC. A.D. The Bible Continues: The Revolution That Changed the World begins with the crucifixion and chronicles the tumultuous struggles of Christ’s disciples following the resurrection. It paints a magnificent portrait of the political and religious upheaval that led to the formation of the early Church—one of the most significant chapters in world history.

A.D. The Bible Continues: The Book of Acts is an inspirational keepsake book, featuring both the book of Acts and stunning photos from the filming of NBC’s A.D. The Bible Continues television event in an exotic location. Dr. Jeremiah serves as a personal guide through the book of Acts, which tells the true story of the first followers of Jesus.

Dr. Jeremiah highlights the people, the places and the plan of the book of Acts, showing how God intervened in miraculous ways in order to build a community that would stand the test of time.
