Worthy Publishing announces it signing of author Sandra Hagee Parker—daughter of renowned pastor and best-selling author John Hagee—to her first book, The Adventures of Pajama Girl and the Coronation of the Cupcake Queen. Parker’s premier title will release March 3 as one of Worthy’s debut children’s titles. Hagee Parker’s Adventures of Pajama Girl introduces readers ages 3-8 to a young girl with a lively imagination and a set of magical PJs. In this charming, illustrated story, Ellie's pajamas carry her and her sister to travel to a land filled with all kinds of sweet treats. Their journey quickly turns into an adventure to help the Cupcake Queen find the missing sprinkles needed for her coronation ceremony. In searching for the missing sprinkles, Ellie and Sis discover a substantial life lesson: Doing the right thing is the sweetest treat of all. “While I am a voracious reader myself,” says Hagee Parker, “I never fancied myself a children’s book author—that is, until my then 4-year-old daughter uttered one phrase that changed my thinking: ‘I am the pajama girl.’ I hope you have as much fun reading this book to your children and grandchildren as I did in writing it. I hope you can share it with others and let it serve as a tool to bring children to know biblical concepts at a young age.” Sandra Hagee Parker is a wife and the mother of daughters Olivia Jordan and Elliana (“Ellie”) Rae. Olivia and her attachment to her pajamas were the inspiration for Sandra’s first children’s book. Sandra is the daughter of best-selling author and pastor John Hagee of Cornerstone Church. |
