Sadie Robertson of Duck Dynasty and Dancing With the Stars visited with her fans during a guest appearance Tuesday at the Mardel store location in Arlington, Texas.

“Due to an overwhelming response to see Sadie, Mardel had to issue wristbands for a guaranteed place in line,” said Kelly Black, vice president of advertising for the Christian retail chain. “Customers started to line up at 5 a.m. to get their wristbands for a chance to meet Sadie face to face!” 

Robertson was “gracious to visit with over 250 fans, signing everything from her new stationery line from DaySpring, cell phone covers and a young girl’s crossbow,” Black added.

Robertson was in the store promoting DaySpring’s new “Sadie Robertson Live Original” line of school supplies, available nationwide this week. Her new line of 20 premium greeting cards from DaySpring launched in June.

"It was so neat to be able to see how excited people are for this line,” Robertson said of her new DaySpring products. “I was able to meet so many wonderful people and see that they're excited to bring encouraging messages to school."

The daughter of Willie and Korie Robertson, Sadie has a strong following among young women.   

“The crowd was mostly made up of young girls who look up to Sadie as a great Christian role model,” Black said. “To see the smile on their faces was priceless, and many of them had a chance to meet their favorite celebrity in person.”

Howard Books also plans to release the softcover version of her 2014 book, Live Original, July 28.
