LifeWay Christian Resources has announced the hiring of two firms to help in the construction of its new headquarters.

Architectural firm Gresham Smith and Partners will design the 216,000-square-foot facility, with Bell and Associates doing the actual construction, according to Baptist Press.

The 1.5-acre site in downtown Nashville reportedly cost $12.7 million, less than a tenth of the $130 million for which the company is selling its current headquarters on nearly 15 acres of downtown property, according to The Tennessean. As much of the current site is not being used by LifeWay, the company has sought a new site and building more suited to its needs.
