Gospel Light announced Wednesday that it would postpone the release of SonSpring Oasis VBS until further notice. This announcement comes following Monday’s news that the company has voluntarily filed for reorganization under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code.

Because of the forthcoming asset auction for Sunday school, VBS and Children’s Ministry Resources, Gospel Light felt it could not bring SonSpring Oasis VBS to market in time for the 2016 VBS season.

Gospel Light apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused for customers and resellers who pre-sold SonSpring Oasis Deluxe Kits.

In a statement, Gospel Light said fall and winter Sunday school will continue to be available as scheduled, and encouraged retailers to “continue to service your customers with this excellent curriculum. We are confident Gospel Light Sunday school will also find a new home with a publisher who will take this content to new levels.”
