CLC UK and eden.co.uk recently partnered together to share the same warehouse facility. This move is the first known collaboration between a Christian brick-and-mortar chain and an online Christian retailer.

The shared facility resulted after CLC moved its warehouse from Alresford, south of London, to Chester in Northern England near the border with Wales. CLC owns the building and leases part of the space to Eden.

Dave Almack, national director and publisher of CLC USA, commented on the partnership.

“At a time when the U.K. Christian book market has undergone significant contraction and disruption, it is exciting to see new and innovative thinking leading to this kind of partnership,” Almack said.

While CLC was already a key supplier for Eden, the new arrangement will make it much easier for Eden to receive CLC’s supplies quickly.
