John Burke’s Imagine Heaven (Baker Books/Baker Publishing Group) has debuted on the New York Times best-sellers list, taking the No. 9 spot for Advice, How-To and Miscellaneous. This ranking reflects sales for the week ending Oct. 31.

In the book, Burke explores the commonalities between more than 100 near-death experiences and how they align with glimpses of heaven in the Scriptures.

Dwight Baker, president and CEO of Baker Publishing Group, commented on the book’s achievement.
