Priscilla Shirer’s Fervent (B&H Books) and Pope Francis’ The Name of God is Mercy (Random House) were No. 1 and 2 on Christian Retailing’s most recent Nielsen BookScan best-seller list. Sarah Young’s Jesus Calling (Thomas Nelson), the Kendrick brothers' The Battle Plan for Prayer (B&H Books) and Joel Osteen’s Fresh Start (FaithWords) rounded out the top five. Following the coloring book trend, Whatever Is Lovely (WaterBrook Press) landed at No. 6 on the list, and other coloring books made the top 100 as well. The list reflects January sales from a wide range of retail outlets, including independent Christian retailers, Family Christian Stores, Walmart and Amazon. Christian Retailing lists the top 20 titles from the BookScan list in its print and digital issue as well. The Nielsen BookScan list online covers 100 best-sellers and is available here. |
