Bob Elder and Brian Lange announced the establishment of Collide Media Group, a marketing agency specializing in brand development, campaign management and strategic partnerships. Most recently Elder and Lange served as president and director, respectively, of the Nashville-based agency Propeller. Elder worked at Family Christian Stores for 10 years before moving to Word Entertainment and then to Big Idea Productions. These experiences prepared him to launch in 2003 an agency, which he sold to Propeller in 2006 when he joined Propeller. Now Elder is refocusing his team to serve the faith-based marketplace through Collide Media Group, connecting content and consumers for ultimate impact. Through the years, Collide team members have led major brand development campaigns for clients such as Thomas Nelson Bibles, Moody Publishers and The Five Love Languages, and faith financial icon Ron Blue. They have run and contributed to major theatrical campaigns for over 30 films, including The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe in 2005, Courageous and Soul Surfer in 2011, and Paramount’s Captive in 2015. Strategic partnerships have been formed and developed for clients, including Phil Vischer's JellyTelly media platform and the recent box-office hit God’s Not Dead. Elder explained why the firm is called Collide. “The word ‘collide’ is defined as ‘two objects in motion coming together to make an impact,’” Elder said. “In today’s ever-changing marketplace, we have come to realize that both content and consumer are constantly in motion. However, the deep impact that our hearts experience when life-changing content is consumed is the result we can all celebrate.” Collide's newly stated mission is "Elevating media that inspires a deeper relationship with Christ." In addition to the company’s three main areas of focus, strategic partnerships, brand development and campaign management, Collide is uniquely equipped to secure distribution for film and home entertainment properties, oversee retail development and helm strategic marketing plans. |
