Advantage acquires Shelton Interactive |

Business book publisher Advantage Media Group has acquired Austin, Texas-based Shelton Interactive to enhance its PR, content and digital marketing offerings. Advantage has become one of the largest business book publishers in America in just 10 years. The new Austin office, spearheaded by the former Shelton Interactive team, is the first step in expansion. Shelton Interactive is an award-winning public relations and digital marketing firm that provides a variety of services to authors, thought leaders and brands, including web development, social media, public relations, design and SEO. Rusty Shelton started the firm in 2010. Adam Witty, founder and CEO of Advantage Media Group, commented on the acquisition. “This is an exciting day for Advantage Members around the globe as we can now offer more value and be more valuable to them in helping grow their business,” Witty said. Witty—a publishing and entrepreneurship expert and author of several books—first met Shelton at an entrepreneur’s event, and they soon realized an acquisition was the best way to reach their shared goals.
