Emily Ley, creative director of the Emily Ley lifestyle brand and founder of The Simplified Planner, will publish her first book, Grace, Not Perfection: Embracing Simplicity, Celebrating Joy, with Thomas Nelson this fall. The October release will draw on Ley's popular blog, social media feeds and daily planner to inspire women to simplify, prioritize and allow the grace of God into their lives. “We are delighted to add Emily to our author roster and share her approach of embracing the perfectly imperfect,” said Laura Minchew, senior vice president and publisher of children’s books, gift books and new media at Thomas Nelson. “Countless women have already caught on to the concept of holding themselves ‘to a standard of grace, not perfection,’ as Emily says, and we think that this will be one of our standout books releasing this fall.” Grace, Not Perfection invites readers into an intentionally slower rhythm of life. Designed with Ley's signature aesthetic, the book delves into the promises and motivations for pursuing a simpler life and provides ways for women to simplify their lives to give space to what matters most. The Emily Ley brand has sold more than 100,000 units online and in more than 600 retail locations nationwide. Ley has expanded the brand’s reach by securing relationships with corporate partners, including Gerber, Shipt and MudPie. |
