A new Christian retail store, Redemption Bookstore, opened in Onalaska, Wisconsin, last month, according to The La Crosse Tribune. Redemption Bookstore is a division of Redemption Ministries Inc.

Redemption Bookstore operates Monday-Saturday and is located in Crossing Meadows Shopping Center at 201 Sand Lake Road. 

The store also serves the community with a children’s story hour and an area for Bible study and worship. Redemption Ministries says Redemption Bookstore is “a place where the gospel is shared in love and power, offering an oasis for those who need encouragement, support or someone to listen to them.”

Store Manager Bonice Sipley, who is also president of the nonprofit organization, has worked in and managed Shepherd’s Voice Christian Bookstore and Living Word Christian Bookstore, the newspaper reported.
