Multnomah Publishers has announced a new direct-marketing campaign to churches that will also help Christian retail. The campaign will allow local retailers to benefit from the large orders placed through FeedingTheFold.com.

Churches buy in bulk through FeedingTheFold.com, where case quantities only are offered at a discount. To complete the order through the Web site, the church selects a local Christian retailer, listed by zip code, who then obtains credit for the sale via a monthly credit to the store.

The order is confirmed to the church with a downloadable and replicable $3-off coupon for pastors, church staff, congregants and others to use at the local bookstore. The goal is to drive more individual foot traffic into the partnering retail stores.

“We recognize the struggles and challenges Christian bookstores have faced over the past few years,” said Don Jacobson, president and publisher for Multnomah. “It's our desire to come alongside and do our part to help bring business into these stores.”
