The eighth annual Spring Book Show, a trade show for bargain book sellers and buyers, will be held in Atlanta, March 17-19, with a special Christian Bargain Book Forum, sponsored by SAS & Associates, a wholesale dealer of Christian books, Bibles and gifts. The forum is being organized to introduce Christian retailers to the bargain book trade and general bookstores to inspirational products.

SAS & Associates will sponsor the registration fee for the Spring Book Show for any store that wants to attend the forum. “They will have to pay nothing,” said Larry May, owner of the trade show.

The forum will be moderated by Steve Slack Jr., vice president of SAS, and conducted in a roundtable format. Scheduled speakers include Steve Slack Sr., president of Book Warehouse Inc.; Fred Plutchak, president of the Christian Outlet Group; Debbie Smith, sales manager for Bargain Books Wholesale; Craig Stoll, merchandise manager for Mardel stores; and Benny Gilliard, general manager of Cross Way Christian Supply in Greenville, S.C.

This year's Spring Book Show will see more than 100 vendors in 60,000 square feet, with 500 tables, including Christian-market exhibitors such as Zondervan, Broadman & Holman and Barbour Publishing, May said.
