Digital Praise Inc., publisher of family-friendly entertainment software with Christian themes, announced it will produce a new Bible Trivia game for PCs. Solomon Says Bible Trivia, Volume 1-Anything Goes will be the first product from Cloud 9 Games Inc., an Austin, Texas, Christian software company founded in 2004. Digital Praise will provide manufacturing, marketing and sales services for the PC game. Cloud 9 was founded by industry veteran Curtis Ratica, a PC game creator who worked for Acclaim Games and Atomic Games, with the mission to “provide Christians with an entertaining alternative to mainstream computer and video games.” Solomon Says Bible Trivia, Volume 1 will test the Bible knowledge of players, while teaching them about characters, events and knowledge found in the Bible. “It was clear to us from the outset that Digital Praise has the same value system we do,” Ratica said. “The company's mission, combined with its resources and relationships both inside and outside the Christian gaming world, makes it a perfect publishing partner.” Cloud 9 Games hopes to form a “Solomon Says” series with other spinoff titles for both mainstream game consoles, as well as the PC, the company said in a statement.
