'Outreach' names 'Narnia' the Resource of the Year |

Outreach magazine has announced the winners of its Third Annual Outreach Resources of the Year Awards, dubbing The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe the Outreach Resource of the Year. This year's awards honor more than 40 resources through 10 top winners and 30 finalists for products released in 2005. Velvet Elvis by Rob Bell (Zondervan) won in the Postmodern Outreach category, while Why Men Hate Going to Church by David Murrow (Nelson) won in the Target Outreach category. Award winners were selected by Outreach magazine readers in 10 categories: Children's Outreach, Youth Outreach, Postmodern Outreach, Target Outreach, Outreach Leadership Training, Equipping Congregations, Global Outreach, Evangelistic Testimony and Personal Evangelism.
The awards will be presented during a press conference on Tuesday, July 11, at 10 a.m. in room 203 of the Colorado Convention Center at the upcoming International Christian Retail Show 2006 in Denver.
