Christian audiobook publisher Oasis Audio has found a new narrator after a yearlong reader search. The Carol Stream Ill.-based company has announced its selection of Michael Coon as its “New Golden Voice Award Winner.” Coon has been working in the voice-over industry for the last four years. Since 2003, he has participated in the Kalamazoo Council for the Arts, All Ears Radio Theater, creating reproductions of old-time serials from “The Golden Age” of radio. With a background in pharmaceutical research, Coon also has worked on radio and TV commercials, training programs, industrial narration and Web-based applications. “We look forward to working with Michael and introducing him to our listening audience,” said Oasis Publisher Edward Elliott.
