Standard Publishing has opened its new distribution center in Cincinnati. The 89,000-square-foot facility began shipping books, curriculum and Vacation Bible School products the first week of January.

The distribution center replaced an older facility owned and operated by Standex International, former parent company of Standard Publishing. The move is the first phase of the relocation of Standard Publishing's distribution center and company headquarters, which has been located in Cincinnati since 1955.

“The new distribution facility marks a milestone in the history of Standard Publishing and reaffirms the company's commitment to excellent customer service,” said Matthew Thibeau, President and CEO of Standard Publishing.

Twenty-one employees staff the new distribution facility. Standard's offices will move later this spring.
