Harvest House Publishers has announced the hiring of industry veteran Rodney Morris as senior editor, effective Oct. 1.

With nearly 30 years of experience in Christian publishing, Morris edited fiction and nonfiction for Multnomah Publishers, and acquired new authors.

A mentor and member of the editorial board for The Jerry B. Jenkins' Christian Writers Guild, Morris was most recently the senior fiction editor at NavPress. He has worked with a number of authors, including Randy Alcorn, Jane Kirkpatrick, Linda Hall, Shaunti Feldhahn, Wayne Grudem and Ravi Zacharias.

Bob Hawkins Jr., president of Harvest House, said Morris' "expertise, background and knowledge are a perfect fit for our company."
