Gospel Today magazine has named Delores Burnett, manager of church relations with American Bible Society (ABS), among its 12 "New Kingdom Voices." The distinction recognizes up-and-coming Christian leaders in various ministries who are having a significant impact on people's lives, according to the magazine. The 12 leaders are featured on the cover of the September/October issue of Gospel Today. "The inclusion of the work of the American Bible Society among the accomplishments of this distinguished group of Christian clergy, lay leaders and authors is a testament to the scope and impact of our work in today's society," said Burnett, a motivational speaker, seminar and workshop leader, and an ordained deacon in her church. ABS officials said for the last eight years, Burnett has been instrumental in developing partnerships with denominations, local churches, artists and Christian foundations. The "New Kingdom Voices" also featured several authors, including Cindy Trimm (Commanding Your Morning: Unleashing the Power of God in Your Life, Charisma House), Zachery Tims (It's Never Too Late, Charisma House) and Michelle McKinney Hammond (The Sassy Girl's Checklist for Living, Loving, & Overcoming, Harvest House Publishers).
