Author Emilie Barnes and artist Susan Rios recently received The Tea House Times' Seal of Approval award for "Excellent Quality Book" for their Harvest House Publishers gift book Christmas Teas of Comfort and Joy.

"So much of our publication is dedicated to connecting consumers and tea businesses in positive ways, and we have been reviewing products for such a long time that many people have come to rely on us for those resources," said Publisher and Editor in Chief Gail Gastelu of the bimonthly The Tea House Times. "This particular book … deserves the award."

Barnes is a best-selling author of more than 60 Harvest House books written by herself and with husband, Bob. Their books recently reached the sales mark of 5 million copies sold. An accomplished artist, Rios' recent projects include a tile mural done for Leeza Gibbons' Circle of Care Leeza's Place, an Alzheimer's awareness and fundraising organization.
