Michael W. Smith's A New Hallelujah (Reunion Records/Provident-Integrity Distribution) supplanted Third Day's Christmas Offerings (Essential Records/Provident-Integrity) for the top spot of the SoundScan Christian/Gospel music Christian retail chart for sales the week ending Nov. 2, while The Star of Christmas, VeggieTales (Big Idea/Word Distribution) remained atop the Christian Videos list.

A New Hallelujah and Christmas Offerings were followed by: 3. Peace on Earth by Casting Crowns (Beach Street Records/Provident-Integrity); 4. Wow Hits 2009 by various artists (Wow Gospel/Provident-Integrity); 5. Dream On by Ernie Haase & Signature Sound (Gaither Music Group/EMI CMG Distribution); 6. Hello Love by Chris Tomlin (sixstepsrecords/EMI CMG); 7. This Moment by Steven Curtis Chapman (Sparrow Records/EMI CMG); 8. Comatose by Skillet (Atlantic Records/INO Records/EMI CMG); 9. Revelation by Third Day (Essential Records/Provident-Integrity); and 10. What If We by Brandon Heath (Reunion Records/Provident-Integrity).

After The Star of Christmas, the best-selling DVDs were: 2. The Christmas Shoes (GT Media/EMI CMG); 3. Dream On by Ernie Haase & Signature Sound (Gaither Music Group/EMI CMG); 4.
