Strang Communications has announced the promotion of industry veteran Marcos Perez to Strang Book Group's director of sales. In his new role, effective Nov. 6, Perez will work closely with executive management to provide leadership as well as oversee sales of books for Strang's imprints, including Charisma House, FrontLine, Realms, Siloam, Excel Books and Casa Creación. "Marcos brings creativity, excitement and a successful career in publishing to our book group," said Tessie DeVore, executive vice president of the Strang Book Group. "This move demonstrates the continued growth we've experienced in the book division, and we expect Marcos to bring us to even higher levels." Perez—who has worked for eight years at Strang Communications—previously served as trade sales manager for Strang Book Group, and before that was the advertising director for the company's consumer magazine division. Based in Lake Mary, Fla., Strang Communications also publishes Christian Retailing as well as five other magazines. |
