Numerous Christian titles made Publishers Weekly's list of best books of 2008, released last week. Recognized in the Religion category were Jesus for President by Shane Claiborne and Chris Haw (Zondervan), Culture Making: Recovering Our Creative Calling by Andy Crouch (InterVarsity Press), O2: Breathing New Life Into Faith by Richard Dahlstrom (Harvest House Publishers), The Twenty-Piece Shuffle: Why the Poor and Rich Need Each Other by Greg Paul (David C. Cook) and The Great Emergence: How Christianity Is Changing and Why by Phyllis Tickle (Baker Books/Baker Publishing Group).
