Greg Daniel has been named vice president and associate publisher for W Publishing Group, a division of Thomas Nelson Publishers. "W Publishing is hitting on all cylinders these days-attracting the top authors in the industry and providing a great return on investment. And we're having fun in the process," Daniel said. "It's a wonderful team to be a part of." "Greg is ideally suited to help our team continue to carry forward the unique vision that defines and drives W Publishing Group," said David Moberg, senior vice president and publisher at W Publishing. "He has ink in his blood. Greg loves books, and he loves authors. He has done a tremendous job developing author and agent relations for W¾and he has a real gift for smelling out great publishing ideas." Daniel has been with W Publishing since September 2001, most recently serving as executive editor. Previously, he was vice president of sales and marketing for Weberize, an Internet services firm based in Nashville, Tenn. Formerly, Daniel's duties were broad in scope and included overall operations management for the division, as well as acquisitions and project management responsibilities. As associate publisher, his primary responsibility will be the acquisition of new and established authors for W, while continuing to assist the publisher in ensuring that the division as a whole is consistently growing.
