Singer/songwriter Russ Lee has formed Vertical Vibe Records, which will be based in Murfreesboro, Tenn., outside of Nashville. Lee has secured a national distribution agreement with New Day Christian Distributors.

His first Christmas recording, Hear Those Bells, will be released Nov. 9 through the label.

"I am excited about the opportunity to build a ministry-based label from the ground floor up," Lee said. "Because we are small, we can focus on excellence and meeting the needs of our artists. It is a joy for Vertical Vibe Records to partner with New Day in this endeavor."
