Switchfoot's Appetite for Construction Tour with bands Relient K and Ruth, which ended Dec. 3, raised more than $100,000 for Habitat for Humanity. The 34-city benefit tour sold an average of 3,000 tickets per night, with $1 for every ticket sold going to the housing charity. All of the money will go directly into the local Habitat affiliates in each of the 34 cities.

“I want us to have a touring history that has impacted people in other ways than selling them a product,” Switchfoot frontman Jon Foreman said in an interview with the Charleston Daily Mail.
